Proshat Art Gallery is pleased to present a solo virtual exhibition of works by our artist Mario Ankaro with the name of ” Appreciation “.
Mario Ankaro, a 35-year-old native of Austria, discovered his artistic talent during his childhood. As a young child, he enthusiastically painted with colored pencils on anything he could find, even if it resulted in penalties to remove his “artworks.” In 2021, he overcame his doubts and began to showcase his works to the world. The positive feedback, including recognition from art collectors, encouraged him on his artistic journey.
Mario is deeply connected to art and creates large-scale, abstract figurative works with essential details to explore profound themes. Occasionally, in his works, he reflects on the dual sides of the world, while addressing issues such as racism, war, equality, and freedom. As someone fortunate to live on the sunny side of the Earth, he uses his art to shed light on the less privileged parts of our society. Mario Ankaro is an artist who expresses the world not only through colors but also through profound messages.
