Merc\u00e9n Art is the artist name of Mercedes Franz\u00e9n, born in 1979 in Finland. After having a ten-year break from all artistic pursuits, she returned to art, and since then, she has been very productive and enjoying herself.<\/p>

Mercedes is an abstract artist who mainly uses acrylics. As an artist, she finds abstract art to be a superb counterbalance to her technical work, and she is not one to wait for inspiration but rather to stay consistent and disciplined to be a productive artist. “Hope” as a concept has many faces for her, and in her art, it comes out in colors–several bright, vivid colors and higher contrast. The titles of her art reflect her current mood, something that has happened, or a song that she has decided to listen to. This artist believes that art is an amazing way to implement so many things to a canvas that are just lacking the perfect lyrics.<\/p>
